Our client is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Press Setter Operator to join the Press Shop team at Chilton. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in operating hydraulic and power presses, particularly AMADA, AIDA, or similar machines ranging from 90 to 200 tons Key Responsibilities: * Set up, operate, and maintain hydraulic and power presses to produce components to high-quality standards. * Independently change tooling and set machines for different jobs as per production requirements. * Perform first-off and in-process checks using general measuring equipment including verniers, protractors, set squares, etc. * Work accurately from engineering drawings, with strong understanding of both first and third angle projection. * Ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality requirements before and during production runs. * Conduct routine safety and quality checks, and ensure machinery is running efficiently and safely. * Record production information and report any non-conformances or machine issues promptly. * Maintain a clean and organised work area, in line with company 5S and lean manufacturing principles. * Comply with all health and safety standards and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
