Does not apply Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Housing Safety Enforcement Officer to join their team in the beautiful northern area of the Lakes, carslile and Cumberland, UK. In this rewarding role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring safe and healthy living conditions within their community. The role: Carry out inspections of residential properties to assess for potential hazards under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) Determine the risk levels associated with identified hazards and determine appropriate enforcement action. Work closely with landlords and tenants to achieve compliance with relevant legislation, offering advice and guidance as needed Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and enforcement actions Issue enforcement notices, including improvement notices and prohibition orders, when necessary Collaborate with other agencies, including Environmental Health and Fire Safety, to address complex cases and ensure resident safety Stay up-to-date on current legislation and best practices in housing safetyExperience needed: A strong understanding of the Housing Health and Safety Rat...
