AW Safety Management Ltd is a leading supplier of health and safety support to small and medium companies across a wide range of business sectors. We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor/Consultant to join our team.

The role includes both office and field-based work. Initial field-based work will be alongside existing consultants. Once trained, you'll be visiting & supporting clients from a variety of industry sectors.

The role involves the following; this is an outline of the role and is by no means an exhaustive list:

- Auditing and inspections on client sites (our client’s range across the mainland United Kingdom, travelling and nights out will be involved with the role)
- Carrying out Risk Assessments and providing advice to clients
- Carry out GAP Analysis Audits and providing expert advice to clients
- Contributing to existing client relationships and being ‘the face of the business’
- Development of health and safety documentation, including policy arrangements, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc
- Assisting clients with their compliance needs
- Implementation of health and safety management systems
- Investigation of accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences and cases of ill health, reporting and recommendation of actions to follow
- Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation
- General administration & office-based duties
- Maintaining the image and the standards of the company
- Maintenance of personal CPD programme
- Guidance, support, and advice to AW Safety clients in line with regulatory requirements

**Hours of Work**

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Set hours will be agreed upon commencement of employment. Working hours on client’s sites will be determined by the activities undertaken during the visit.

**Holidays**

There will be 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. The Company will close over the Christmas period each year and employees are required to use annual leave days to cover this. The holidays are based on a calendar year and would be calculated on a pro rata basis from employment start date.

The Company will provide a telephone & laptop for business use.

**Vehicle**

Use of Company pool vans, complete with a fuel card, is included with the position. Should occasions arise where the employee is required to use their own vehicle, then all business mileage will be paid for on receipt of an expenses form at the HMRC rates.

Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
