What's the Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Structural Technician to join and strengthen our experienced team. This role is ideal for someone who has experience of working as a Technician in a design office and is looking to develop their skills further. This role will enable you to gain confidence as you take on more responsibility. You will be supported with training to build on your existing knowledge and experience to gain chartered TIStructE status. Our team works on varied projects including healthcare providers, automotive manufacturers, leading Universities, developers, schools and colleges, and local authorities. What you need to do to be effective in this role Production of drawings and technical information using both AutoCAD and REVIT platforms Produce detailing in structural steelwork, concrete and masonry Delivering a variety of information including GA's, sections, details, and 3D models Working within company BIM protocols and standards within defined project timescale Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Ridge design is fully co-ordinated. The skills and experience you need to have for this role Preferably ONC or HNC or Equivalent in Building Structures or Civil Engineering Proven experience of UK Structural Engineering design office experience which will be discussed at interview Proficient in the use of Revit Structures and AutoCAD. Experience in RC detailing preferred. Experience of new build in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber. Experience of working on refurbishment and extension projects to larger scale buildings. Personal Attributes The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and take pride in providing quality work, have good communication skills, and be proactive and motivated to achieve set goals and targets.
