An exciting opportunity has become available for a Referral Coordinator to join our well established and supportive team in providing Care Technology.The aim of the new Care Technology Service is to assist people in remaining independent for longer stay at home and give people their confidence back. The new service positively impacts a wide range of stakeholders across the council and across the local health and care system from care professionals and wider staff to people who need support their carers and family members.We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing and delivering positive outcomes through the use of care technology alongside other support methods that the individual may or may not receive from adult social care.You will be responsible for the triage processing and booking of new referrals received into the service and providing support and guidance to people looking to refer for Care Technology.About YouTo apply for this post you must:Have a qualification at NVQ3 Social Care or equivalent level; or equivalent level of experience and an understanding of social care and use of Care Technology.Have experience in evaluating referrals and managing associated risks with the ability to capture store and accurately retrieve information.Have experience in effectively planning and prioritising work and meeting deadlines.Be computer literate with understanding of Microsoft Office packagesHave excellent communication skills both written and verbal and well developed listening skills with the ability to take in a broad range of information.Be able to adapt to dealing with all kinds of customers in order to assist them adequately.Be capable of working as part of a team and to work with colleagues effectivelyWed also expect you to shareour commitment to our valuesand will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process.This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.Interested in Flexible WorkingWe are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments.
