A market-leading Energy Research and Analytics client is looking to add an Advisory Senior Associate to their growing team based out of their office in Oxford. You will be delivering cutting-edge advisory services for clients across the energy transition.


You will also manage junior colleagues in developing insights to help clients make better strategic and investment choices. You will support all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, synthesising conclusions into recommendations and presenting to key decision-makers in the industry.


The position suits an analyst or associate from a top-tier strategic or economic consultancy, energy company, financial services company, or knowledge-focused firm or institution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading advisory projects for our clients, across a diverse range of energy transition technologies, business models and strategies, including planning out the work of the team and ensuring we maintain rigorous standards of analysis and clear communication of insights
  • Line management of junior analysts in the team to help them develop and coaching/manage analysts within a project.
  • Supporting business development work, for example by contributing delivery plans to our proposals


Required Attributes:

  • Experience at a major consultancy, energy company, financial services company, or other knowledge-focused firm or institution
  • First class or high second-class university degree
  • Demonstrated success in taking responsibility for project and process management in team-oriented environments
  • Proven ability to interpret and derive insight from complex quantitative data and information.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and co-operate effectively with both technically and non-technically minded people.
  • Proven experience or strong interest in the Energy sector.
