Role description:

As our new Junior Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and effective graphics to be used across Abbott Lyon’s marketing channels. Your role will encompass supporting the design process, from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring that our brand’s visual identity is consistent and engaging across all platforms. Reporting to the Lead Designer, you will contribute to numerous projects and campaigns that drive our brand’s image, growth and customer engagement. This is a dynamic and highly creative role, perfect for a motivated and innovative designer who thrives in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.


Duties and responsibilities:

• Create compelling visual content for various platforms including websites, social media, email campaigns, and wider digital channels.

• Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity for the brand, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

• Translate marketing strategies into effective designs that resonate with our target audience.

• Ideate and create image and video assets for products, promotions, campaigns, iterations and new testing opportunities.

• Retouch and editing ecommerce imagery to ensure high-quality visuals that meet brand standards, including color correction, background removal, and blemish removal.

• Assist briefs for internal and external content creators, photographers and videographers.

• Keep up to date with creative trends and the social landscape (TikTok trends, Instagram, YouTube).

• Support senior designers with amends and iterations on existing work.

• Collaborate with wider teams: Brand and Influencer to understand upcoming campaign and collaboration activity, Product to understand new launches, Ecom and Performance to understand best performers, trends and commercial insight.


Skills and Experience:

• 1+ year design experience across a Junior Graphic Design or Creative Artworker role .

• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).

• Video and image editing experience.

• Fundamental graphic design knowledge.

• Highly organised and detail-oriented.

• Self-motivated to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Capacity to turn out quality content quickly.

• Enthusiasm to research, share ideas, and use initiative.

• A desire to understand performance drivers of creative.

• Interested in current trends and fashion.
