The Company

Your new Company is an Independent Broker based in Croydon. They are a team of highly experienced professionals deliveryinng insurance solutions to the Property, Corporate, Private Clients, and SME sectors for 40 years.

They now have an exciting position within their Team as a Senior Commercial Account Handler and are seeking an experienced individual to assist with the management of their Clients.

The Role

  • Senior Commercial Account Handler - with a good knowledge of Insurance products to include Commercial Property, Property Owners, Cross Class Commercial & Commercial Combined
  • Dealing with individual business clients as well as medium sized portfolios
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with insurers and customers alike
  • Produce correspondence to required timeframes and quality standards
  • Issuing and processing new business documents, mid-term adjustments, cancellations and renewals
  • Where necessary, produce and maintain spreadsheets, bordereaux and databases to enhance data presentation, analysis, and storage

The ideal individual will have

  • 2 years experience in working for an Insurance Broker
  • Actuaris would be preferred but not essential
  • A good understanding of Commercial insurance products.
  • Have the ability to efficiently manage a varied workload, whilst working towards strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a keen interest in business
