We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivatedRevenue Managerto lead our hotel's Revenue & Reservations team and oversee all financial functions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the success of our new and luxurious hotel.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue across all departments, with a particular focus on rooms and F&B. This role requires a data-driven professional with a deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and yield management. Additionally, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the launch of the hotel, assisting in setting up all necessary systems and processes from the ground up. This includes collaborating closely with sales, marketing, events, and operations teams to ensure alignment with the hotel's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue through effective revenue management processes.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to guide pricing and yield management decisions.
- Adjust room rates based on market conditions and demand forecasts to optimize revenue.
- Oversee the implementation of promotions and packages to boost demand during low periods.
- Prepare, present, and upload annual budgets, budget packs, and reports to management, owners, and asset managers.
- Hotel Launch and Setup:
- Play a key role in the launch of the hotel, helping to establish and set up all necessary revenue management systems and processes.
- Work closely with the General Manager and other departments to ensure a smooth opening and operational readiness from a revenue management perspective.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of pricing models, inventory control systems, and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Performance Analysis:
- Evaluate hotel performance metrics such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market share reports.
- Prepare and present comprehensive revenue management reports to senior management, owners, and asset managers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, events, and operations teams to align revenue management strategies with overall hotel objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the in-house Reservations team, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives, and provide training to ensure team members' professional growth.
- Work closely with the finance department to monitor and control costs, ensuring alignment with revenue strategies.
- Market and Industry Insight:
- Stay informed on industry trends, local market developments, and global events that could impact hotel revenue.
- Utilize this knowledge to make informed recommendations and strategic decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a revenue management role within a similar size and quality hotel is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team, with experience leading a reservations team being advantageous.
- Proven ability to assist in launching a hotel, including setting up all necessary revenue management systems and processes from the ground up.
- Proficiency with revenue management systems and a strong understanding of pricing models and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of detail orientation.
- In-depth knowledge of the local market and industry trends, with a proven track record of adapting strategies to market conditions.
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
