As Logistics Sales Manager, you will be the face of the company and involved in promoting the logistics and forwarding services to potential clients.
Other duties include:
- Identify and target potential clients through market research and networking.
- Contact prospective clients to understand their shipping needs and present customised solutions.
- Prepare accurate pricing quotes/proposals and negotiate and secure service agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and identify upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with transportation providers to manage logistics and manage necessary shipping documents and maintain records in CRM.
Candidates should have a background in the multimodal forwarding sector with ideally a exposure in the Transatlantic and Far East/West-bound trades. As this is a client facing role, candidates should have sales experience and be comfortable in front of customers.
Candidates must have a valid driving licence and the right to live and work in the UK.
