We are focused on delivering exceptional patient care, outstanding clinical outcomes and continued investment in our people and technology.A fantastic opportunity has become available for an optometrist to provide care to patients from our flagship clinic in Glasgow City Centre. You must be at least 2 years qualified on the GOC and ideally have the Independent Prescribing qualification.You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to our patients.At Optical Express, no two days are the same. Your role will be varied and can include:Pre and post-operative consultations for our refractive and cataract surgery patientsProviding clinical support to our ophthalmologists during refractive surgery.Being part of our multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service, delivering these procedures.Providing Essential and Advanced Eye examinations for our patients.Communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine.Provide clinical support to the hub administrative team where required.In the referral triage team, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate ophthalmology clinic.Your package: We are committed to providing optometrists with rewards and benefits that really make a difference.
