Experience in programming of control and data acquisition systems. Ability to interpret and advise on data from a physical and mechanical perspective.This role is based within our client's collaboration areas of Warwick University and supports both the University, our Client and 3rd Party activities. The candidate will be technically outfacing and responsible for the day-to-day operation of the brake test facility, dealing with project planning and execution of test programs. Candidate will be required to promote the facility at external events and work with the business team to develop the customer base both internally within our client, University partners but also promote the test capability more widely within the industry to 3rd parties.Experience Required: * Practical experience working in a physical test and validation environment. * Capable of evaluating physical test data, drawing conclusions and being able to articulate to technical customer representatives.Experience Preferred: * Experience in the technical evaluation specifically with reference to vehicle friction braking systems and characteristics. * Experience in a friction brake test environment. * Educated to degree level in a mechanical and or physics related subject. * Understands electronic integration into mechanical control systems. * Experience technically taking the lead within a small team and own the team outcome at all levels.Additional Information:No hybrid working.This role is INSIDE IR35
