As the sole dedicated PMM within the product team, you’ll build the function end-to-end: defining positioning and messaging, deepening customer insight, and leading go-to-market for new products and features.This is a high-impact, cross-functional role working closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing, making sure our strategy is understood, our launches land brilliantly, and we continuously feed customer and market insight back into the product roadmap.If you thrive in ambiguity, love strategic partnering, and can turn product thinking into clear, compelling stories, we’d love to hear from you.What you’ll be doingOwn positioning & messagingCreate clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for BrightLocal’s platform and featuresTurn product capabilities into value-led narratives tailored to our usersBe the voice of the customer & marketLead persona development and keep our understanding of customer needs, Jobs To Be Done, motivations, and buying behaviours up to dateOwn competitor intelligence: build frameworks, gather insights, and share actionable analysis across the businessLead go-to-market for launchesPartner with PMs and Marketing to shape GTM strategies for new products and feature releasesEquip internal teams with the right messaging, launch assets, and training to drive adoption and revenue impactBring clarity through communicationOwn how we communicate the product roadmap internally and externally—what’s coming, why it matters, and how it supports our strategyWrite and manage release notes, product updates, and launch announcementsEnsure Sales, Support, CSMs, and Marketing have timely visibility on changes and what’s nextBuild playbooks, enablement materials, competitive battlecards, and customer-friendly education contentWhat we offerCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Up to 20% bonus (Performance-based)Hybrid working (2 days/week in our Brighton office)25 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off3 duvet days per yearVitality Healthcare£1,000 annual personal learning budgetA friendly, supportive team with a strong people-first cultureWhat you’ll bringProven Product Marketing experience (ideally in SaaS, B2B tech, or MarTech)Strong storytelling and communication skills—able to make the complex simple (and ideally comfortable using data to support the story)Confidence working independently and leading without authorityA collaborative approach with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and commercial teamsBonus points for experience marketing AI-based products, and for using AI in your day-to-day workAbout BrightLocalFounded in 2009, BrightLocal has grown into a powerhouse name in Local SEO and digital marketing.
