Because what we do matters to us as valued professionals and to the millions of people and institutions who rely on us to help them build more secure and prosperous futures.THE ROLEThe Senior Trading Associate will focus on EMEA Equities execute trades for MFS funds and clients and contribute to the MFS trading and investment process.WHAT YOU WILL DOExecute single stock and program Equities trades across the EMEA region while seeking best executionCollaborate with global investment team on execution strategy and liquidity needsConduct execution research in support of best execution and improving trading outcomesLeverage technology and analytics to improve MFS execution quality and liquidity accessSource filter develop and distribute relevant market color content and liquidity opportunities to the investment teamCollaborate with and assist functional teams throughout the firm including operations compliance client services and the broader trading teamDevelop and maintain strong internal and external relationships for the purpose of delivering on the above responsibilitiesFollow and support MFS policies and procedures including best execution trade allocation and more as requiredAssume additional responsibilities as requiredWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORMinimum of 5-8 years of Equities trading or related experience including EMEA-specific experienceThorough understanding of relevant markets and investmentsExperience with order management systems electronic trading platforms and traditional voice trading practicesStrong interpersonal communication and teamwork skillsStrong organizational and decision-making skillsWillingness to learn KDB R or Python#LI-HYBRID At MFS we are dedicated to building a diverse inclusive and authentic workplace.
