We are currently supporting their recruitment for an Associate-Level Private Client Lawyer to join their established team on a full-time, permanent basis, located at their Malvern office. This will be an office-based role initially, with scope for flexible or hybrid arrangements after a successful settling-in period.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor, Associate, or STEP/TEP-qualified professional to join a progressive and forward-thinking legal practice. The successful candidate will be confident handling a broad range of private client matters and will play a key role in strengthening and developing the service offering, particularly in relation to trusts, where this skill set is essential.This is a full-time permanent position, Monday–Friday, with flexibility available around working hours. Salary is dependent on experience and earning potential, with a starting point around £42,000 for a confident, self-sufficient lawyer. The firm offers excellent facilities, including on-site parking and full secretarial support.As a Private Client Lawyer, you will manage a varied caseload of matters, provide exceptional client care, and contribute to the continued success of a busy and growing department. You will work alongside one other lawyer, taking a lead on trust matters and supporting the wider private client offering.Private Client Lawyer – Main Duties:Manage a diverse caseload including wills, trusts, estate administration, IHT and tax planning, LPAs, Court of Protection matters, and deputyships.Provide expert advice on trust creation, administration, and associated tax implications.Draft wills, trusts, LPAs, and related documents to a high standard.Meet with clients, take detailed instructions, and maintain exceptional levels of client service.Support complex estate and tax planning matters with accuracy and legal expertise.Work collaboratively with secretarial support to ensure files, documents, and correspondence are managed efficiently.Ensure full compliance with the firm’s internal procedures, SRA requirements, and all regulatory standards.Contribute to business development activities as required and maintain strong client relationships.Provide support and knowledge-sharing within the team, particularly regarding trust matters.Private Client Lawyer – Desired Skills and Experience:Qualified Solicitor, Associate, or STEP/TEP-qualified professional with strong private client experience.Proven ability to independently manage a caseload across the full spectrum of private client matters.Essential: demonstrable experience of dealing with trusts (advice, creation, and administration).Strong technical knowledge of wills, estate planning, tax, LPAs, and Court of Protection work.Exceptional client care and communication skills.Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious private client specialist to join a supportive, reputable firm with room for professional growth and future flexibility.If the above role sounds perfect for you, or you require more information, then apply NOWGMP Recruitment are recruiting for this role on behalf of their client and are acting as an Employment Agency.
