Absolute Executive Search are partnered with a well established Firm of Solicitors based in Kent who are seeking a Legal Cashier to join their team.You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and overseeing office and client account administration. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Sage Accounts, be fully computer literate with advanced Excel skills and be conversant with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and VAT Regulations. You will also have awareness of COFA duties and responsibilities.Duties to include:-Prepare, check and monitor all monthly payroll processesBank, petty cash, credit cards and expenses reconciliationsTo oversee Credit ControlLegal Aid billing / enquiriesSales and purchase ledgersBank reconciliations for client account on a daily basisTo process month/year end reports and accountsTo ensure that all legislations are complied withProcessing payments including Chaps & BACsMonthly compliance reporting to COFA/COLP and partnersMonitoring residual client balancesProduction of time and billing reportsAssisting with the firm's archiving requirements, when necessaryOther ad-hoc dutiesYou will also be assisting with and overseeing: the production of Office and Client account chequesthe processing Office and Client account receiptsthe processing Client to Office transfersthe review of all completion statementsthe posting of invoices, file disbursements and billsFor further information on this role, please contact us today
