Description

  • Oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring all invoices are issued timely and accurately.
  • Supervise a team of accounting staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in line with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to management.
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
  • Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and standards.

Profile

A successful AR Supervisor should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the housing sector.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Excel.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
