Finance Supervisor Job Description

Berry Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Finance Supervisor to join their team in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Role: Finance Supervisor

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum (Negotiable)

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00

Holiday Entitlement: 23 Days Annual Leave

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing AP, AR & CC activities, supporting the Financial Manager with the production of the monthly management accounts, Job Costing, and Contract Analyst costing.

About the Role:

  • Manage the AP, AR & CC team and distribute work accordingly.
  • Support the production of the monthly management accounts reports.
  • Perform weekly credit card reconciliation.
  • Upload payment runs to the banking system.
  • Conduct Contract Costing Analysis, Set-Up, and Reviews.
  • Provide Turnover reports and P&L to Account Managers.
  • Review expense claims for VAT and coding accuracy.
  • Update and check Hourly Rate costs and charges.
  • Update and analyse Vehicle Costs, including dealing with personal mileage and PCN deductions for Payroll.
  • Upload PL and SL Invoices from the CAFM system to the Finance system.
  • Perform ad hoc project work.

About You:

  • AAT or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with month-end accounting processes is required.
  • Previous experience of mentoring and coaching colleagues is essential.
  • A financial background is essential.
