This strategic leadership role reports to the Cuckoo Finance Director and is central to delivering FP&A insight and financial partnering across the business. Youll be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy plan and associated policies to optimise FP&A processes improve data accuracy and reflect the evolving complexity of the business.Youll provide strategic direction to Cuckoos leadership team ensuring decisions are grounded in credible analysis. This includes identifying opportunities and challenges in the business model creating and maintaining financial models and forecasts and leading the development of dashboards and analytics to inform performance.Youll also:Build and maintain pricing and customer lifetime value models to support commercial decisions.Partner with functional teams to align reporting with business initiatives.Lead the budget review process and monitor financial health using key ratios and forecasting.Map out growth plans including capital expenditure and investment strategies.Engage and lead a high-performing team to deliver reporting and strategic goals.Deliver ad-hoc analysis manage projects to improve capabilities and systems and drive continuous improvements.Define KPIs and champion operational excellence to mature financial controls.You should apply if:You are a qualified practice-trained accountant (ACA)You have experience with a national top-tier firm.Proven ability to lead senior stakeholders through complex initiatives securing buy-in for operational improvementsDemonstrated experience in taking ownership of cross-functional projects beyond core finance responsibilities.Experience with risk management and improving controls to mitigate risks.Experience in driving improvements across operational processes and customer experience outcomes.Youre proficient in Power BI and confident in communicating insights through PowerPoint and Word.It would be great if you could also:Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data.Delivery capabilities supported by foundational project management skills.Excellent communication skills able to present results in a structured and informed way to stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to drive business improvements and develop compelling business cases with the influence to encourage key stakeholders to implement change.Life inside the nest:Salary up to 75000 dependent on experience. 4x Life AssuranceSalary Sacrifice Pension30 days holiday plus statutory bank holidaysEnhanced Family LeavePrivate HealthcarePrivate Dental CareCycle 2 Work SchemeHealth Cash Plan Shopping DiscountsCuckoos commitment to inclusive hiring:One of our Cuckoo values is We are different.
