Support may take place within the classroom or in small group/1:1 settings always under the guidance of teaching staff.Apprenticeship Overview:Salary:7.55 an hourAutomatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19 year oldsWorking Week: Monday Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 5pm Wednesday and Friday 9am to 2pmHours:30 hours per weekDuration:18 monthsLevel 3 Teaching Assistant SEND Pathway Apprenticeship standard qualificationOnline training supported by our dedicated tutorLocation: 38 Clifton Avenue London E17 6HLBig Creative Education Unleash Your Creative PotentialBecome a Teaching Assistant Apprentice at Big Creative Academy and play a key role in supporting students with SEN and Education Health & Care Plans. Youll provide tailored 1:1 and small group support promote independence monitor progress and champion inclusion across the Academy.Work under the direction of the SENCo to deliver tailored support and care programmes ensuring students can fully engage in learning.Encourage independence and inclusion supporting students across all aspects of Academy life.Provide targeted support on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to help students build confidence and understanding of the curriculum.Monitor attendance progress and outcomes for students with EHCPs maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.Prepare and collate information to support assessments reviews and inspectionsWhat training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the endThe successful candidate will obtain a Level 3 SEND Pathway Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship standard qualification.Each apprentice will have their own dedicated tutor who will conduct monthly remote tutorials and reviews providing continuous support throughout the apprenticeship program. Depending on the apprentices needs the frequency of these sessions may vary.What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeshipPotential full-time employment for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.Pre-employment checks. Please be aware that upon a successful offer of employment the company completes digitalised right-to-work checks and DBS applications via an external provider - Matrix Screening.
