Skanwear is a leading provider of Arc Flash and Flame Resistant education and protection. Our STRATA® brand of clothing offers globally compliant, lightweight solutions in protective clothing and PPE for the electrical industry. We deliver our products directly to customers in over 82 countries worldwide within five working days. To promote electrical safety in the workplace, we have established the Skanwear Academy, which provides educational resources and collaborates with electrical safety consultants.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager - UK & Ireland at Skanwear. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing and expanding existing client relationships, conducting market research, and developing sales strategies. The role is located in the UK, ideally within a commutable distance from the Doncaster head office, but this isn't critical to the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland
- Experience in working with electricity related industries is a plus
