Reed are currently working in partnership with a local school in Greenford who are looking to hire an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organized Administrator/PA to cover until approximately February 2025.

Main purpose of the job:

  • Acting as front of house and communicate with pupils, staff, parents, visitors and contractors  appropriately
  • Under the guidance of the head teacher and the school business manager, be responsible for undertaking  administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school.
  • Provide specific administrative support for the head teacher (acting as her Personal Assistant) and the senior management team.
  • Assist with the planning and development of school support services.
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

Experience Required:

  • Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy and verbal skills
  • Experience of administrative work in a school setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of relevant ICT packages
  • Ability to undertake specific administrative tasks for the head teacher and other senior management leaders
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks to a high standard and to set deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritising tasks and paying attention to detail
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff, children, parents and visitors

Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and role will be term time only.

Strict vetting checks will need to be conducted for any successful candidates
