Practice Manager

Location: Coventry

A well-established, forward-thinking law firm with a reputation for providing high-quality legal services based in Coventry are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their team to ensure the operational efficiency of the firm.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the practice, including staff management, financial administration, and office facilities.
  • Work closely with senior partners to implement strategic business plans and ensure practice growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), and manage the firm’s risk management procedures.
  • Manage HR functions, including recruitment, staff development, performance appraisals, and ensuring a positive working environment.
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Lead IT and facilities management, including liaising with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring the smooth operation of office technology and infrastructure.
  • Support marketing initiatives to promote the firm’s services and expand its client base.
  • Ensure the firm operates with the highest standards of client care and service.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager within a law firm.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of legal compliance and regulatory requirements, particularly those set by the SRA.
  • Financial management experience, with the ability to manage budgets, payroll, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with office management software and legal IT systems.
