Philanthropy Manager (Whale and Dolphin Conservation Charity, 1-2 days a week in the office)
Salary : £32k pro rata , 10 month FTC
Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire
Civitas Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic leading global charity dedicated to the conservation and protection of all whales, dolphins and porpoises. The charity works globally through campaigns, lobbying, advising governments, conservation projects and much more. An exciting opportunity exists for a Philanthropy Manager to join the team on a temporary basis for 10 months (maternity cover). As Philanthropy Manager, you will be part of the major giving team that focuses on raising funds from trusts, foundations, statutory founders, and High Net Worth Individuals. This is a full-time role based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. 1 day a week in the office minimum.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have proven fundraising success along with demonstrative experience of philanthropic giving. You will be a confident communicator who understands the charity sector. You will be involved in managing external relationships as well assist senior managers with bid proposals and strategy development turning ideas and concepts into compelling funding propositions. You will have demonstrative experience of securing sizeable gifts from High-Net-Worth Individuals along with experience in making face to face asks. The role will also involve line management responsibility allowing the postholder to gain experience in leading and management. This is a great opportunity to develop your career in the fundraising sector with a fantastic conservation charity.
