SEND Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:

  • Keep detailed records and participate in review meetings to assess and support student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENDCo, and professionals like speech and language therapists to provide tailored support.
 
SEND Teaching Assistant - Essential Requirements:
  • SEND Teaching Assistant candidates must hold a minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from a recognised UK university.
  • Enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed to supporting the mental health and development of children with SEND.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to deliver individualised support alongside teachers and SENDCo.
