Private Client Solicitor (all levels) - Historic Landed Estates and Rural Wealth Practice Central LondonLex Exec is working exclusively with one of London's oldest private client firms to appoint a rising Private Client Solicitor to join its busy landed estates team.This is a unique opportunity to join a quietly top-tier private client boutique that advises some of the most significant landed families and estates in the UK.Working with leading Partner's, the successful applicants will be exposed to the most interesting and exciting work this area has to offer from day one.Our client has a best-in-class track record of retaining their people, with all solicitors effectively joining on "Partner track" from day one.The firmLong established boutique private client firm with a centuries old blue chip landed estates client baseHighly rated for private wealth work and known for meticulous, Partner led adviceTrue partnership cultureThe firm was originally founded to act for a major English landed family and still advises that estate today alongside similar multi generational client families. Work is almost entirely domestic onshore with only a small element of offshore where existing clients happen to hold overseas assets.The workYou will focus on high quality private client work for landed estates and ultra high net worth families, including:Tax, trusts and succession planningWills, letters of wishes and related structuringAdvising on APR and BPR and wider inheritance tax planningEstate and trust administration in support of the private client teamClose collaboration with the property team on rural and estate related mattersEvery client has at least one active Partner relationship and often two. Files are genuinely Partner led with associates working closely alongside them rather than at the bottom of a large leverage model.Culture and working styleInverted pyramid partners are hands on and accessibleVery collegiate environment Strong emphasis on learning in personSensible targets around 1100 hours per year net of write offsThe firm and their Clients value face to face contact, so there is a strong in office culture with many people in the office most days of each week.What they are looking forThe firm hires with the clear expectation that all private client solicitors are potential future partners.
