An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Administrator to join our Team at our very well-established Textile Agency, based in Hertfordshire.


Our business has represented highly renowned International Textile Mills supply into both the High-Street stores and Top Branded Design Houses across the UK and Ireland for over 30 years.


Ideal applicants will demonstrate excellent communication skills, coupled with a sense of enthusiasm towards working within a team environment. 


You will play a key role as part of our Administration Team in providing administrative support to Directors and Management to help assist them with seeing multiple client projects through from initial concept to launch, orders placed and shipments received. In this support role your duties will include:-

*Respond to email requests to Clients and Suppliers

* Build and maintain various excel spreadsheets and critical paths for product development, sample trackers, price lists, shipment tables, sales logistics and targets etc.

*Use In-house Database to process Product Specifications, Orders, Confirmations, and Invoices 

*Follow up with any logistics queries relating to product development sampling and order shipments.

*Attend weekly Teams meetings with Management and Suppliers. Prepare meeting Agendas and produce minutes from meetings.

*Send samples to Customers and Suppliers via Courier and update in Sample Tracker tables.

*Tidy Showroom for Supplier / Customer visits and prepare lunches


General Administrative duties including answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, setting up courier packages, filing etc.

*Ability to keep calm when faced with tasks that require strategic time planning and multi-tasking.

*Professional confident attitude 

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

*Proficiently skilled working with Excel

*Keen eye for seasonal trends and an interest in the textile/interiors industry
