Are you a motivated and highly skilled Orthopaedic Lead Scrub Practitioner looking for an exciting opportunity in Central London? Our client is seeking an Orthopaedic Lead to join their Hospital, located near the prestigious Harley Street medical area. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will:

  • Act as an expert clinical resource within theatres and across the centre.
  • Lead and coach the team, providing clinical leadership and fostering continuous development.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to prepare operating theatres, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.
  • Perform scrub/assisting duties, contribute to quality improvement, and promote evidence-based practice.
  • Provide expert, holistic care to perioperative patients and their families.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service.
  • Manage equipment and supplies, ensuring sterility and cost containment.

The ideal Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner will have:
  • Current NMC registration for Registered Nurses or HCPC registration for Registered ODPs with scrub training.
  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience in a theatre setting.
  • Current BLS certification; ILS certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Orthopaedic Theatres and independent problem-solving.
