Vickerstock are proud to be partnering with a well known engineering firm to recruit a Welder/Fabricator. Location: Ballynahinch Salary: £12.50-£13.00 per hour (timekeeping paid on completion of 40-hour week) Are you an experienced MIG welder looking for an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry? We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join our team in Ballynahinch. About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for MIG welding mild steel to manufacture agricultural and industrial trailers. Your duties will include: Operating welding and engineering equipment with precision and care. Fabricating steel parts according to technical drawings and using jigs as necessary. Continuously welding previously fabricated parts to ensure seamless assembly. Performing linishing and general cleaning of finished work to meet quality standards. Installing additional components to welded assemblies post-painting. Conducting quality checks to ensure all welds are present and correct. What We're Looking For: Prior experience in MIG welding is essential. Ability to learn new processes and methods quickly. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with existing operators. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate with timekeeping bonus.
