ABOUT AGRATAS:
We’re a recently established global battery enterprise and a subsidiary of the Tata Group which owns Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Tata Motors. We’ll be pioneering the design, development, and manufacturing of batteries for electric vehicles (EVs) at our state-of-the-art gigafactory in the UK.
Our gigafactory is expected to have a capacity of 40 GWh per year.

PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER
The Process Engineering Manager will be responsible for process design and definition, equipment specification, acquisition, installation, commissioning and vendor management for all elements of a manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be required to build skills and capability within the newly formed function to ensure outstanding performance against key manufacturing performance indicators including Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Rate of Climb adherence and delivery to SQCDP targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Engineering qualification(s)
- Battery Cell Manufacturing process/equipment knowledge & experience, or transferable experience from a similar process industry (e.g. Food, Pharmaceutical, Cement, Semiconductor, Automation)
- Experience of highly automated manufacturing process environments
- Excellent knowledge of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques including consistent delivery of productivity targets in manufacturing
- Proven experience of leading multi-skilled teams through programme/project delivery
- Experience of management and analysis of data and cost benefits, the production of metrics, the development of plans with defined objectives, and structured problem solving.
- Experience of vendor management to specify, commission and deliver Plant & Equipment
- Experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving
- Experience of Six Sigma approach in business performance & improvement.
- Experience and working knowledge of Health and Safety Audits and ergonomics including risk assessments.
- Ability to excel in ambiguous and constant evolving scale-up environment.
