PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER
The Process Engineering Manager will be responsible for process design and definition, equipment specification, acquisition, installation, commissioning and vendor management for all elements of a manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be required to build skills and capability within the newly formed function to ensure outstanding performance against key manufacturing performance indicators including Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Rate of Climb adherence and delivery to SQCDP targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
Engineering qualification(s)nBattery Cell Manufacturing process/equipment knowledge & experience, or transferable experience from a similar process industry (e.g. Food, Pharmaceutical, Cement, Semiconductor, Automation)nExperience of highly automated manufacturing process environmentsnExcellent knowledge of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques including consistent delivery of productivity targets in manufacturingnProven experience of leading multi-skilled teams through programme/project deliverynExperience of management and analysis of data and cost benefits, the production of metrics, the development of plans with defined objectives, and structured problem solving.nExperience of vendor management to specify, commission and deliver Plant & EquipmentnExperience in the application of a logical approach to Problem SolvingnExperience of Six Sigma approach in business performance & improvement.nExperience and working knowledge of Health and Safety Audits and ergonomics including risk assessments.nAbility to excel in ambiguous and constant evolving scale-up environment.
