Associate Director of Impact

The Luminos Fund an international nonprofit bringing education opportunities to the worlds most marginalized children is seeking an Associate Director of Impact to manage its dynamic Impact team and oversee the processes and tools that underpin our impact work. The Impact team is responsible for collecting analyzing and reporting on program data to drive evidence-informed decision-making across the organization and improve learning outcomes for marginalized children.This position calls for an experienced manager with expertise in data systems alongside strong people and project management skills. We encourage applications from individuals with professional backgrounds in data systems engineering data science monitoring and evaluation education research or related technical fields.This is a full-time role that may be based in one of our offices in Accra Addis Ababa Boston London or Monrovia or remotely in a time zone from GMT-5 to GMT3. Reporting to the Senior Director of Impact the role holder will collaborate with country-based program teams and the Teaching & Learning team to ensure effective impact processes and high-quality data. The position will require up to 25% travel to challenging contexts in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.About The Luminos FundThe Luminos Fund () provides transformative education programs to thousands of vulnerable children each year helping them to catch up to grade level and prepare for lifelong learning. Jacobs Best Practice Prize the Library of Congress International Literacy Award the Lipman Family Prize the WISE Award and the HundrED Global Innovation Award.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership in Data SystemsDesign and manage a user-friendly data system to track classroom quality and learning outcomes across the Luminos program.Lead the full design processfrom reviewing existing data flows and gathering user needs to identifying technology solutions that work well in low-resource settings.Document system design clearly including how data are extracted cleaned and loaded to guide smooth implementation.Maintain and improve the system over time introducing automation and stepping in for hands-on troubleshooting when needed.Establish strong data quality checks to keep all program data accurate relevant and timely.Project and Process ManagementDevelop and manage the Impact teams internal processes for planning task tracking and accountability with an emphasis on simplicity and clarity.Oversee implementation of data tools and systems that enable consistent reliable and scalable measurement of impact.Collaborate closely with country teams and the Teaching & Learning team to understand their data needs and integrate insights into program design and delivery.Technical Leadership in Education Research Monitoring and EvaluationSupport the collection and analysis of learning data including EGRA/EGMA and related assessment tools.Conduct and interpret statistical analyses (e.g. descriptive statistics hypothesis testing regression) to generate actionable insights.Maintain data quality through strong monitoring systems clear standards and staff training.Translate findings into practical recommendations for program improvement and donor reporting.Required Skills and ExperienceBachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
