Finance Assistant - 1 Month Contract

Manchester City Centre | £28,000pa (pro rata)

We are supporting a fantastic client based in the City Centre of Manchester looking for a experienced Finance Assistant to join their small Finance team on an interim 1 month contract. There is a strong possibility this role could be extended. Successful candidates must be available immediately or at short notice.

Salary is up to £28,000pa.

About the Role as a Finance Assistant:

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Assistant with bank payments, reconcilliations, purchase orders, posting payments.
  • Data entry and reconciliation.
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements of the role:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong Excel experience.
  • Sage 50 experience.
