Aramco Trading Limited (ATL) was incorporated in London in 2019. ATL carry out energy trading activities, in particular the trading, by way of procurement and sale of refined products, crude oil, specialty petroleum products and chemicals. In addition to physical trading, ATL also engage in a wide variety of activities including shipping, chartering, storage and trading of financial derivatives. The company has a widely diverse employee base with expertise in all aspects of the oil trading market. The rapidly expanding London team compliments our global network and provides constant coverage across all time zones. ATL is an active participant in hydrocarbon trading in Europe, Africa and the Americas, with wide variety of crude grades and different petroleum products. The Company has also been expanding its activities to include GAS business where trading Liquefied Petroleum Products (LPG) and Lignified Natural Gas (LNG) form part of the growing portfolio.

The Role

ATL are currently recruiting for a Settlement Accountant with general accounting experience to support the Finance Department of Aramco Trading, London.


Qualifications, experience and skills:

  1. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree and either fully or part qualified (CIMA or ACCA)
  2. Oil and gas trading background is preferred.
  3. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
  4. Strong knowledge and proficiency in use of financial IT systems
  5. Possess a strong analytical, problem-solving mindset.
  6. Attention to detail, well organized and ability to prioritise and work under pressure.


Duties include:

  1. Check, verify and process miscellaneous invoices for accounts payables and receivables.
  2. Perform daily cash position clearance.
  3. Enter daily key data of financial transactions in SAP.
  4. Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices as needed.
  5. Assist in month-end reporting procedures as needed.
  6. Perform other miscellaneous duties
