We are now seeking a passionate and creative Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our food offerings to new heights.


Role Overview

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for developing and delivering exquisite menus that reflect our focus on weddings, private events, and our intimate fine dining restaurant. You will have the creative freedom to design seasonal, locally-sourced dishes that cater to a range of palates while ensuring a flawless dining experience for every guest. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated kitchen team in a prestigious, characterful hotel.


Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation

Develop innovative, bespoke menus for weddings, special events, and our fine dining restaurant, with a focus on local, seasonal ingredients

Ensure consistency in delivering exceptional quality across all dishes, from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations

Oversee stock management, ordering, and supplier relationships, with a focus on sustainability and budget control

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to all food hygiene and health & safety regulations

Work collaboratively with the Events and Front of House teams to ensure seamless service for all functions and restaurant services


Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or events-focused environment

Expertise in menu development, with a passion for creating memorable, seasonal dishes

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during weddings and large events

A commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceeding guest expectations
