Were looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member. In this role, youd be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

Hours:This role is an hourly paid, fixed term position.Saturdays onlyduring term time and additional hours available during school holidays. The role will include weekends and some Bank Holidays, however, there are no evenings or split shifts.
Salary:£11.50 per hour.

For this role, youll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
As a Team Member, your main focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people. Youll welcome and look after everyone who comes to the café. With your love of working with people, your can-do attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service, youll be making sure everyone has an enjoyable time. This is a lively business thats constantly on the go, so teamwork and adaptability are crucial.Youll be keen to understand what people want, to help them and to make recommendations. Youll always keep the standards of food and drink preparation and presentation high. Using your excellent eye for detail, youll make sure all displays and signs are accurate and looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.
Well give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
