Our client in the Wednesbury area is looking for an experienced Packaging Design Co-Ordinator to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth.

This role would suit people from the Food (FMCG) sector with a previous job title of an Operations Administrator, Manufacturing Administrator, Production Administrator, Quality Control Administrator, or similar roles.

Benefits:

  • Salary - £25,000 to £27,000 per annum.
  • Location: Wednesbury
  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm (37.5hrs per week)
  • Office Based role.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage packaging design projects while communicating with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Approve and file packaging artwork files while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure Barcodes, Ingredients, artwork colours and all other details are suitable.
  • Partake in weekly project management meetings to update stakeholders on the progress of projects.
  • Liaise with printers and packaging manufacturers to further understand the printing process.
  • Sign off on samples that adhere to the required design drawings, artwork and print quality.
  • Distribute any required artwork internally with Marketing and Management as required.
  • Despatch sample packaging when required.
  • Issue barcodes for new artwork and ensure they are inline with the required quality.
  • Any other admin related tasks as required by management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • (Essential) Minimum 2 years' experience within the FMCG sector.
  • (Essential) Previous packaging experience, e.g. Dealing with Design Houses, Artworks & Barcodes.
  • Experience with MS Excel, SAP & MS Access.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
