Lutine Bell are pleased to be supporting a multiple award winning General Insurance and Investments firm who are looking to recruit a Senior Actuary to join their team.


The company is renowned for it's excellent customer satisfaction and maintaining long standing relationships with their customers.


Role:

  • You will be sitting within the Risk Division, helping to lead Risk led assurance reviews and ensure critical business calculations within Pricing, Reserving and Capital Modelling.
  • Acting as the Chief Actuary's delegate, you will be providing technical advice to third party suppliers of advice and technical software solutiosn for Actuarial modelling.
  • Supporting senior management decision-making and compliance with relevant regulations such as Solvency II.
  • Providing assurance over actuarial work and wider risk topics in line with company strategy in line with PRA expectations
  • Lead, manage, motivate, and develop junior actuarial staff.


Requirements:

  • Ideally you will be a fully qualified Actuary with experience in the General Insurance sector.
  • Strong technical kowledge of actuarial techniques either in General Insurance Pricing, Reserving or Capital modelling.
  • Able to commute 1 day per week into the midlands area.
