Smart Environmental Support Solutions are recruiting for a HR Officer to join us on a permanent basis.
Ad-hoc travel will be required to support HR members around the regions, own transport will be essential

Part of this position also includes supporting an additional company under the Smart Solutions Group- Smart Workforce Solutions (England) – who specialise in supplying temporary workforce to the industrial and logistics sectors.
The Role
The HR Officer will provide full scope of HR Administration. Areas include recruitment, new starters, payroll, changes, training and administration, family friendly leave, terminations, Statutory Sick Pay and ad-hoc projects as required in support of both Smart Environmental Support Services (UK) and Smart Workforce Solutions (England).
The post holder will also provide service continuity during team holiday periods.
Main Duties Include:
- Administration of employment information
- Appropriate record keeping
- Data entry
- Monitoring and responding to various queries from managers and employees through the central HR inbox, and from other agencies or external sources
- Minute taking
- Communication/liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting, organising and supervising the maintenance of department records, ensuring complete and accuracy and confidentiality.

Skills & Experience Required:
- 1 year+ HR Administration experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skill
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- CIPD qualified (by experience)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of processing SSP
- Ability to process high volumes of data accurately and to deadlines
- Good level of communication both verbal and written
- Holding a valid and clean driving license with own car
