Join us as a Commercial Manager at our either Farnborough or Portsmouth site where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.The RoleAs an Assistant Commercial Manager you will be a strategic thinker supporting the overall business objectives for growth and innovation in the UK and internationally demonstrating an awareness and forethought beyond the task at hand.Day-to-day youllprovide commercial support across multi-disciplined Capture and Delivery Teams as required in accordance with the established commercial strategy. This strategy will contribute to our Business Winning and should include all aspects of legal (Ts and Cs) pricing Intellectual Property as appropriate to the grade in addition to contributing to effective and efficient contractual management of contracts within the portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:To manage a portfolio of multiple bids and or contracts at the same timeTo draft (creation or amendments) of business-to-business agreements and able to advise when each may be applicableTo be able to develop further interaction with stakeholders / other functions to achieve business objectivesTo support strategic deals that endure past the first engagementTo use data to analyse trends and influence decision making on contract strategyTo support negotiation strategy and planning capable of influencing up to programme levelEssential experience of the Commercial Manager: Significant experience working as a Commercial ManagerA strong understanding of contract managementA strong background in pre-contract workExperience leading negotiationsExperience developing / managing complex contractsEssential qualifications for the Assistant Commercial Manager:University degree or comparable previous work experienceWe value difference and we dont have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you. This role is 37 hours per week based at either our Farnborough or Boscombe Down site. Hybrid working patterns are available.
