IT Infrastructure Engineer(Security)Canary Wharf, UKHybrid (2 days week)Inside IR35 Contract (6+ Months)Key Skills• Creation of technical governance documentation, such as Low Level Designs and• Creation of security focused technical specifications for Windows environments• Secure Configuration Baseline creation• Knowledge of Active Directory Certificate Services• Knowledge of IIS• Knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services• Knowledge of Cryptography• Windows Server 2019 / 2022 / 2025• Windows 11• PowerShell• VMware including ESXi / vCentre• Strong understanding of designing to meet security principles and compliance• Application \ Infrastructure migration skillsDesirable Skills• Desirable: good knowledge MS SQL• Desirable: experience using M365 Security Controls• Ensure our internal systems are managed to the highest standard by following industry best practice• Demonstrate good problem management ownership and prevention of SLA breach under Incident/Problem Management processes• Actively contribute to the development of existing and new IT process and procedures to enhance service transition and service operation lifecycle stages• Demonstrate self-starter capabilities• Experience of working in a network heavily segregated by firewalls• Appreciation of networking and the understanding of firewalls rules• Understanding of building a product that will result in zero findings on a penetration test• Terraform• Ansible• Windows running in AWSQualifications / certificationsDesired• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working knowledge and experience• Strong Understanding and appreciation of working on business-critical production infrastructure, applications and database services• AWS/Citrix/Cisco/Microsoft/VMware certification• Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
