Joining us on a full-time permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary of 30000 - 35000 per annum plus excellent benefits. About the roleAs a Compliance Auditor you will be an important member of the Risk and Compliance team. You will be part of a highly visible well respected function providing risk and compliance activity to management and the Board on the effectiveness of the South West Waters management systems (including Bournemouth Water and Bristol Water) as well as other priorities in line with its Assurance Plan.As part of the Risk and Compliance function focussing on Quality Assurance you will be responsible delivering internal audits covering sites across South West Waters regions. This will expose you to a variety of operational sites shared service functions as well as the opportunity to develop wider follow up action plans with management. This is a role where you will have the opportunity to bring about tangible change and help South West Water to continuously improve the way that it operates.The role will also include other management system responsibilities including document management.What youll be doing:Plan arrange and perform audits in line with the plan (site and office based audits) in line with Risk and Compliance audit methodologyComplete and agree audit reports with those responsible for areas audited and relevant managementWork with the wider Risk and Compliance team to ensure the action log is up-to-date and follow up of non-conformances and observations arising from internal audits and other assuranceWhere required assist the business with process documentation (given experience obtained through role) as well as performing document management tasks for the groupWork flexibly on other internal assurance priorities as they arise across the businessWhat we are looking for:5 GCSE grades C or above including Maths and EnglishA Level qualification (or equivalent)Full UK Driving LicencePrevious relevant audit or related operations or business partnering experienceGood interpersonal skills both verbal and written able to communicate within and outside of direct colleaguesAbility to use own initiative and demonstrate a can do attitudeStrong ethical standards and high levels of integrityAble to recommend effective practical and commercial solutions to issuesWhats in it for you:Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidaysA discretionary BonusCompetitive Contributory PensionShare-save SchemeVarious health benefitsWellbeing support programmesA range of Group DiscountsCycle to Work SchemeFinancial support servicesAnd plenty moreWe know that the support and commitment of our staff is key to our success so you will receive the opportunity for ongoing development and training for a long-term career with us.
