A major hedge fund, rapidly expanding its European commodities business, are looking to make a newly created trader hire for its London team.


Joining a bank of exceptional commodities portfolio managers / traders / analysts, the new hire will have broad coverage across power, gas, crude, metals, options/derivatives. As a this is an expanding desk/business, outside of core trading responsibilities the hire will work on projects to help the quant / tech teams build out FO infrastructure.


Candidates should be experienced traders, from a commodities specialist background, which includes extensive experience in power and gas + options. We welcome profiles from IB, hedge fund and commodity trading firm backgrounds.


There is some flexibility on base to allow for an attractive increase on an individual’s current base salary number. The total comp for year one is targeted at £250-300k with the variable dependant on individual performance.
