Digital Platform and Network Security Manager

We are seeking a technically proficient and strategic Digital Platform & Network Security Manager to lead the design implementation and management of our network security team. This role will play a critical part in safeguarding our enterprise systems with a strong focus on advanced security technologies including Checkpoint firewalls F5 application delivery controllers SSE and SASE platforms and content delivery networks (CDNs) such as Akamai.Key Responsibilities:Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute a comprehensive digital platform and network security strategy aligned with business objectives.Security Architecture & OperationsDesign implement and manage secure network architectures across cloud hybrid and on-prem environments.Administer and optimize Checkpoint firewall infrastructure ensuring robust perimeter and internal segmentation controls.Manage F5 BIG-IP appliances for load balancing SSL offloading and application-layer security (WAF ASM).Oversee the configuration and performance of CDNs such as Akamai ensuring secure and efficient content delivery and DDoS mitigation.Integrate security controls into digital platforms (e.g. SaaS PaaS IaaS) and ensure secure API and web application deployments.Lead incident response planning execution and post-incident analysis.Monitoring & ReportingImplement and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to threats in real time.Provide actionable insights and regular reporting to senior leadership on security posture and incident trends.Team ManagementLead and mentor a team of security engineers and analysts.Collaborate with IT DevOps and business stakeholders to embed security into all phases of system and application lifecycles.Qualifications : Experience:5 years of experience in IT security with at least 3 years in a leadership or architecture role.Proven hands-on experience with:Checkpoint firewalls (policy management threat prevention VPNs)F5 BIG-IP (LTM ASM GTM modules)CDNs such as Akamai (WAF Bot Manager App Protector)SSE/SASE Platforms (Netskope ZScaler Fortinet Palo Alto)Strong understanding of network protocols cloud security (preferably Azure) and digital platform security.Key Skills:Strategic thinking and technical leadershipDeep knowledge of enterprise network and application securityStrong communication and stakeholder engagementExperience with Zero Trust Architecture and secure cloud adoptionAdditional Information : Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:Reward Recognition and OpportunitiesFrasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
