Job SummaryBicycle Therapeutics is seeking a talented scientist with strong background in in vivo pharmacology and tumor biology to support the preclinical research and discovery efforts for our expanding portfolio of Bicycle -based therapeutics. The successful candidate will have a passion for developing transformational treatment paradigms for cancer patients and will enjoy working across programs and will report to the Associate Director of In vivo Pharmacology.Key ResponsibilitiesManage in vivo pharmacology research through a network of CROs and academic collaborationsDesign and interpret in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate the activities of Bicycle Toxin Conjugates (BTC) Bicycle Radio Conjugates (BRC) and other compounds in our pipeline including their mechanism of action and PK/PD/efficacy -relationshipsEffectively document and communicate study resultsEffectively collaborate with cross functional disciplines (biology DMPK translational sciences toxicology) and engage internal stake holders to drive decisionsThis has a hybrid-working arrangement with a flexibility on the number of days being onsite.Qualifications : Key Skills and CompetenciesRelevant experience in the industry setting requiredHands-on experience using animal disease models (particularly oncology models) requiredExperience in outsourcing in vivo studies is preferred (from contracting to reporting)A strong background in cancer biology is preferredExperience in working with toxin- or radionuclide-conjugates (antibody or other) is preferredCapability of working both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teamsAttention to detail and strong interpersonal organizational and communication skillsInnovative entrepreneurial enjoys working in a fast-paced small-company environmentAdditional Information : State-of-the-art campus environmentCompetitive reward including annual company bonus28 days annual leave in addition to bank holidaysEmployer contribution to pension (employee does not have to contribute)Life assurance cover 4x basic salaryPrivate Medical Insurance including optical and dental coverHealth Cash PlanEligibility for an option grant to subscribe to shares in Bicycle Therapeutics plc.Cycle to work schemeBicycle Therapeutics is committed to building a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities we serve.
