Data Visualisation Specialist

We’re Quickline, and we believe everyone deserves great internet. Whoever you are, wherever you are and whatever you do online. So we’re on a mission to provide just that. Lightning fast, reliable broadband that reaches the places other providers leave behind.

Our mission relies on a team full of inspiring people. As a Data Visualisation Specialist at Quickline, you will leverage your expertise in Geographical Mapping, machine learning, statistical analysis, and data manipulation to unlock actionable insights from large and diverse datasets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop models, algorithms, and predictive analytics that optimise decision-making and support our business objectives.

Could that be you? If developing interctive dashboards gets you out of bed in the morning, and making data look sexy puts a smile on your face then we would love to find out more about you.

Here’s why you’ll love this role…

-You will develop and design interactive dashboards, charts, graphs, and other visualisations to effectively communicate data insights

-Use geographic data visualization tools such as ArcGIS, MapInfo, or similar to create dynamic and interactive data presentations.  Also use tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Qlik for non-geographical visualisations.

-Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to interpret complex data sets and identify key insights. Use your statistical and analytical skills to understand the story behind the data and present it visually.

-Your keen eye for detail means you will ensure that all visualisations are built on accurate, clean, and up-to-date data.

-You'll be able to share your knowliedge with team members and other departments on data visualisation tools and techniques.

Here’s why you’ll be great in this role…

-You have experience in a role just like this - or worked on similar projects through work or studies and would love to focus on it for your next career move

-You have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

-You have proficiency in geographic data visualisation tools such as ArcGIS, MapInfo, or similar.  You've also gained experience using tools such as PowerBi, Tableau or Qlik, SQL, Python, or R.

This is a full time role, but we’re all about making sure our people can do what they do best whilst balancing busy lives, hobbies, kids, cats and cross stitch. So if you’ve got ideas about flexible working, let us know.

The benefits…

- Pension – 5% employer / 5% employee contribution.

- WPA Health Scheme – Can claim back prescription, GP and optician charges, therapy allowance, private outpatient consultations, NHS parking claim back, EAP, 24/7 remote GP service, member discounts.

- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, your birthday, house move and wedding day off.

- High Street Shopping Discount Scheme - Holidays, food and drink, insurance, sport, tech, high street, Ikea, M&S, cinema etc.

- Regular ‘Lunch & Learns’ and company wide ‘Elevenses’ meets to discuss company direction.
