We are looking for a leader to guide our client´s engineering team in optimizing and developing processes for research and manufacturing. You will work in specialized environments, collaborating with various technical teams to enhance production capabilities and integrate new technologies.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the process development road-map, ensuring technological leadership in processes and tools.
  • Oversee daily operations of process toolsets, including managing R&D and manufacturing wafers.
  • Drive creativity to address process challenges and maintain industry-leading standards.
  • Optimize processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and enhance quality.
  • Utilize statistical techniques such as SPC, FMEA, and Gage R&R to enhance manufacturability and ensure process reproducibility.
  • Document procedures and write SOPs for process operations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Photolithography Team, including engineers and technicians.
  • Set clear goals and conduct performance reviews to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage project timelines, ownership, and deliverables for the team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and prioritize safety awareness.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners to align technology development with business objectives.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the Process Engineering Manager.


Requirements


Required Qualifications and Experience


  • Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering or Process Development.
  • Hands-on expertise in photolithography processing and process equipment.
  • Proficiency in structured problem-solving techniques and SPC processes.


Desired Qualifications and Skills


  • Leadership and project management experience.
  • Familiarity with E-Beam Lithography and wet etching processing.
  • Knowledge of InP materials and associated processes.
  • Experience with SPC, Six Sigma, and Gauge R&R studies (Green Belt certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis.
