About Us: We are supporting a leading provider of residential childcare training, committed to delivering high-quality education and support to apprentices. The team is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and professional environment that promotes growth and development.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Childcare Assessor to join the team on a full-time, temporary basis for 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing apprentices working towards Level 3-5 qualifications in Residential Childcare. While the role is based in Leeds, travel to Preston and other workplaces of apprentices will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and providing feedback to apprentices working towards Level 3-5 Residential Childcare qualifications.
  • Supporting apprentices in their learning journey, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Planning and delivering training sessions, both in-person and remotely.
  • Maintaining accurate records of apprentice progress and assessment outcomes.
  • Liaising with employers and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to apprentice development.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Residential Childcare (Level 3-5).
  • Proven experience as an assessor in a similar role, with apprenticeship experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Must be a driver with access to a vehicle, as travel to Preston and other workplaces is required.
  • Must be in Leeds once per week.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
