Job DescriptionEquifind are representing a Cannon Street based UK leading FinTech firm who are looking to hire an Accounts Associate.Long term they see this as the ideal training ground for someone with 1-2 years experience who would like to continue studying towards their ACA/ACCA/CIMA exams; and ultimately become a qualified accountant for the business.The company are in to work life balance employee well-being and giving people broad experience in a structured way.The Role:The key responsibilities for this permanent Accounts Associate role for a Cannon Street based UK leading FinTech firm will be:Manage accounts payable invoices and payments.Processing corporate employees expenses through Pleo (an expense management system).Monitoring the group cash position.Bank reconciliations.Month-end accounting including updating quarter-end working papers.Posting month-end journals (fixed assets depreciation prepayments accruals).VAT returns.Recharges.Processing monthly payroll.Monitoring and reconciliation of the intercompany balances.Assisting with audit process for year-end.Ad-hoc projects.Application Criteria:To be considered for the role of permanent Accounts Associate role with a Cannon Street based UK leading Private Equity firm candidates should ideally be:Ideally part-qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or at least taken some exams post exemptionsHave an ambition or real desire to pursue the CIMA ACA or ACCA qualificationAbility to work under pressure in a fast-growing environmentConfident in dealing with a wide range of stakeholdersAttention to detail is essentialStrong communication skillsIdeally intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables V-Look Up SumIf)Willing to be part of a team and engage with othersCompensation:The permanent Accounts Associate role with a Cannon Street based UK leading FinTech firm will be paid a competitive market based salary with full study support (CIMA ACCA ACA).Hybrid working pattern. 3-days per week in the office. 2-days WFH remotelyEmployer pension contribution.25-days annual leave.Other benefits.Annual competitive bonus.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Time Management,Data Entry,Customer Service,Debits & Credits,Microsoft Outlook,QuickBooks,Accounting,Account Management,Asset Management,Microsoft Excel,Administrative Experience,Phone Etiquette Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
