Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children in education with SEN, but worried you might not have enough hands-on experience?Are you looking to work in a primary school that can offer SEN training?Tradewind are very lucky to be working alongside a brilliant mainstream primary school based in Westminster, who are on the search for committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support in their Early Years department.About the school: The school has a number of newly built departmentsIncredibly effective and supportive SLTKeen on investing in their staff, offering you an opportunity to develop your professional skillsA vibrant and dynamic environmentAbout the role: Full-time (Monday to Friday)Long-term role commencing in September 2024 and will last until at least July 2025You will be required to support groups moderate and severe learning difficultiesPupils will be ages 4 - 5 yearsIncorporate the EYFS curriculum and "learning through play"You may be required to lead intervention group sessionsWork 1:1 with pupils who require extra supportEncourage the use of visual learning materialsRequirements: Minimum of 3 months' experience working with childrenSEN experience / understanding is ideal but not essentialConfident and willing to support children with complex needs is essentialMust be available full-time and long-term from September 2024Why join Tradewind?
